Marist has extension sites at Fishkill, Goshen and Kingston, NY as well as at Sullivan County Community College in Monticello. Provided oversight to BA/BS in Integrative Studies, including a fully online version, the Center for Corporate and Professional Education, the Center for Lifetime Studies, Winter and Summer Sessions, and graduate programs, including: Master of Business Adm.(MBA),  Master of Public Administration (MPA) , M.A. in Communication, M.A. in Educational Psychology, M.A. in Psychology; M.S. in Information Systems- (MSIS).  The MBA, MPA, MA in Communication and MSIS are available fully online. Chief Executive Officer, reported to University Executive Vice President and Provost. Managed Chapman’s 31 extended learning sites throughout CA and in Arizona and Washington State as well as continuing and distance learning activities, including responsibility for over 7000 enrollments, 350+ faculty and staff and budget exceeding $50 million annually. Jan.  1999 – Aug. 2001   DEPUTY CHIEF ACADEMIC OFFICER (Interim CAO, 6/1-8/8/01)                                                                              Connecticut State University System, Hartford, CT

Provided academic leadership to the CSU System and assisted the Chancellor in all academic matters relating to CSU Board of Trustees (BOT), the Council of Presidents and in relation to State and federal governments and other higher education institutions. The CSU System includes Central, Eastern, Southern and Western Connecticut State Universities. Administer staff and budget for Academic Affairs. Chair Council of Academic Vice Presidents and provide liaison to BOT Academic Affairs and Athletics Committees.  Managed university initiatives on lifelong learning and the assessment of quality in teaching and learning; supervised Director, Institutional Research and Associate Executive Officer for Assessment, Grants and Learning Technology and other Executive Officers.

Sept. 1996 – Dec. 1998: DEAN, GRADUATE STUDIES, SUNY Empire State College, Saratoga Sprgs., NY.

Chief executive officer, directly responsible for: academic program, budgeting, outreach, faculty development, and personnel for MA programs in Business and Policy Studies, Labor and Policy Studies, Social Policy and Liberal Studies, enrolling 500+ students. Directed development effort of competency-based MBA and "on-line" graduate courses.  Supervised staff, Program Chairs and graduate faculty. Liaison to President’s Council and Graduate Academic Council. Concurrent academic rank: Associate Professor with tenure.

July 1992 - August 1996: DEAN, EASTERN REGION  (Central New York Center, Syracuse and 
                                          Northeast Center, Albany), SUNY Empire State College, Syracuse, NY. 

 Chief executive officer, responsible for UG enrollment of average headcount of 1500 students, 50 full-time and major part-time faculty and 25 additional staff, in 16 locations in NYS, including 6 in the Capital area (see next entry) and in Auburn, Binghamton, Cobleskill, Ithaca, Johnstown, Plattsburgh, Saratoga Springs, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown and as part of SUNY Consortium at Fort Drum (headquarters of US Army’s 10th Mountain Division), responsible for: academic program, budgeting, planning, outreach, development, personnel, liaison with other ESC locations and public and private institutions. Also represented President in the region and administered FORUM-Syracuse (residency-based, UG management program for corporate sponsored students) and Albany Semester (Intern) Program  (placing SUNY students in NYS agencies).

Oct. 1986 - June 1992:        DEAN, CAPITAL DISTRICT CENTER, SUNY Empire State College, Albany, NY.

Chief executive officer of College’s capital area learning location and four units in the NYS Dept. of Social Services and on campuses of Columbia-Greene (Hudson), Schenectady County and Hudson Valley (Troy) Community Colleges.

Sponsored by the New York State American Legion Auxiliary. Provided presentations and guidance on State/local government, campaigning, bill drafting and political parties to over 300 young women (high school seniors) from throughout NYS.

Sept. - Nov.  1974, 1976, 1978 and 1980:    ELECTION ANALYST/CONSULTANT, WPTZ-TV, Plattsburgh, NY.

Planned, developed, created budget and implemented election news service, employing 40-50 college students to collect election returns and provided live, on-the-air interpretation and analysis of local, state and national elections (covering northern NYS and Vermont).
